Mesquite Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. The population was 205 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²), all of it land.
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 205 people, 106 households, and 73 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 355.3 people per square mile (136.5/km²). There were 142 housing units at an average density of 246.1/sq mi (94.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.68% White, 0.98% Black or African American, 0.98% Native American, 0.49% Asian, 1.95% from other races, and 2.93% from two or more races. 7.32% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 106 households out of which 1.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% were married couples living together, 2.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.1% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.93 and the average family size was 2.23.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 6.3% under the age of 18, 0.5% from 18 to 24, 6.8% from 25 to 44, 41.5% from 45 to 64, and 44.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 64 years. For every 100 females there were 93.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.0 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $33,125, and the median income for a family was $34,861. Males had a median income of $26,250 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $20,517. None of the families and 6.7% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 14.0% of those over 64.
